DESE confirms Presser - GAP waivers allowed in 'stay at home' LGAs

Today's email from the federal government's Department of Education, Skills and Employment confirms limited gap fee waiving in affected local government areas. 

Services in local government areas subject to 'stay at home' orders, primarily around Sydney as this is written, may waive gap fees for children who don't attend from Monday 19th July 2021.

Note that gap fee waiving is only permitted in areas where the 'stay-at-home is active or the centre has been ordered to close and only for children who dont attend.  It is also important to note that its not compulsory.
