Setting up Hotmail "Safe Sender" Setting Hotmail and Windows Live have extremely agressive filters that blocks a lot of mail that is not spam. Although their web pages indicate questionable mail will go into your "Junk" folder, that's not 100% true. Mail from SmartCentral, which is never "unsolicited," is routinely bounced by Hotmail's servers before it gets to your inbox. Worst of all it is dropped silently so we can't tell what is happening. To ensure you get our email, you must add "@smartcentral.net" to your "Safe Sender" list. It's not difficult. Here's how: |
How to set smartcentral.net as a 'safe' domainIf you're using "Hotmail Classic" (the old version of Hotmail) follow the instructions in "A." If you're using the new version, "Windows Live" use the instructions in "B." A. Hotmail Classic
B. MSN Windows Live
