The NSW Government has formed a new Joint Working Group whose main aim is to make it easier for new child care services to get established in NSW. With representatives from the NSW Department of Education, the Department of Planning and Environment and the Office of Local Government, they will explore how they can simplify the planning system as it applies to child care centres. Planning Minister Rob Stokes has welcomed this new group.
